With over 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry, specialising in sheep, beef, and dairy operations, James is a key member of the Colliers Rural team.

James began his career working on  family drystock farm, where he developed a strong foundation in practical farming.  He went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Agribusiness Management through Massey University, further strengthening his understanding of the business and financial drivers behind successful farm operations.

After completing his studies, James joined BNZ as a Rural Banker, where he developed a deep understanding of the commercial aspects of farming and built strong connections across the rural sector.  He later returned to farming, managing large-scale operations across the Bay of Plenty and establishing his own beef finishing business through leasing properties in the Te Puke region.

James remains actively involved in his family farming operation, combining extensive practical experience and strong commercial acumen with financial insight and hands-on farming knowledge to deliver trusted advice and exceptional results for rural property owners and investors across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty as part of the Colliers Rural team.
