127 Kohaihai Road, Karamea, Buller

Set on 2.46 hectares, this unique lifestyle property has been lovingly developed over the past 20 years into a sheltered, spray free haven. With established orchards, productive paddocks and plenty of potential still to unlock, it’s a rare opportunity in Karamea.

Highlights include:

• An incredible variety of fruit, nut and berry trees, with something to harvest almost year round. The property’s sheltered position and mild, sandfly free climate make growing here especially rewarding.
• Paddocks for stock, room to expand the food forest or scope to build additional dwellings.
• The land also holds subdivision potential for the future.
• A spacious four bedroom, two living room home with internal access garaging. While comfortable and positioned beautifully for sunshine, the home would benefit from some updating, allowing you to add your own touch.
• A large powered workshop, once a helicopter hangar, it's perfect for storage, projects or accommodating light aircraft.
• Additional outbuildings include a woodshed, greenhouse and chicken run.
• Ample rainwater storage with three tanks, totaling around 70,000 litres.
• Privacy and peace, yet only minutes from Karamea village amenities, beach, rivers and nature walks.

For aviators: bordering the Karamea Aerodrome brings the rare chance to establish direct access to the airstrip. With a strong local flying community, this could be your ideal base for a holiday bolthole or private hangar.

The current owners are sad to leave, but proud to pass on the rewards of two decades of planting and care. This property blends self sufficiency, lifestyle freedom and future potential in one special package. Contact Dan for more information on 021 367 861.
