Offered to the market for the first time after more than 20 years of strategic development and investment, the Southern Farm Collection of Lone Star Farms represents one of New Zealand’s largest sheep and beef operations. Located in the lower South Island, this is a multiple award-winning farming enterprise of the highest order.

Formed through the amalgamation of 16 farms into three top tier stations - Caberfeidh (in the Hakataramea Valley), The Wandle, and Barewood (Middlemarch), today these farms operate individually, yet work in synergy as one fully integrated, high-performing agricultural enterprise.

Covering over 14,600 hectares, this three station offering delivers exceptional scale and opportunity. The operation benefits from robust infrastructure, highly efficient systems, and deeply experienced staffing.

Lone Star Farms stock performance is the outcome of years of commitment to excellence with a company mantra of “farming better everyday.” Focus and commitment to breeds of Angus cows, Headwaters sheep and assisting the Lumina lamb program have delivered outstanding results for the Southern Farm Collection.

Operating at scale, the stations leverage shared efficiencies and market channels, creating a dynamic and future-focused business. Detailed systems, advanced reporting and planned capital improvements provide a robust platform for ongoing success.

Opportunities of this magnitude and quality are extraordinarily rare. The Southern Farm Collection stands as a multiple award-winning farming operation - a testament to a 25-year legacy of Lone Star Farms agricultural innovation, investment and stewardship.
