Alastair covers leasing and sales within the commercial real estate market from theAirport and Miramar to Te Aro to the Wellington CBD, to Porirua and Plimmerton, Lower Hutt to Upper Hutt as well as Dunedin, and further afield.Prior to setting up AGRE (Agency) Limited - AGRE Commercial, he worked for Pelorus Real Estate, REMAX Commercial which later changed its brand name to Leaders Commercial then Leaders Raywhite all under the entity of Leaders in Real Estate (1987) Limited. Alastair worked for Pelorus Real Estate Ltd on Willis Street, Wellington Central, ran his own service business as a finance and insurance brokerage and operated as a tax and compliance accountant before setting up AGRE (Agency) Limited - AGRE Commercial and Industrial.He holds a BCA in Marketing from Victoria University and has numerous papers outside of the major from Otago and Massey universities, the Open Polytechnic of NZ and Otago Polytechnic.

A born and bred Dunedinite he has been a native of Wellington since 1986, and now lives in Newtown.

Among his current interests are golf, opera stage performances, international travel, current affairs, and hosting and sponsoring professional events.
